Who Are We?

The Muslim Professional Network came to light as a result of an Iftari in which Muslims from the square mile were invited to attend in October 2004. Given the success of the first event, it felt right to those involved that the next step be to formalise into a network of professionals representing Muslims based predominantly in the financial industry.

We currently cover informal networks in a range of industries including Investment Banking, Law, Management Consultancy, and are looking to branch into Accountancy or any other industry where we can facilitate networking amongst professionals.

The Committee that oversees MPN represents different institutions in the city, who are part of official and unofficial networks within their own firms. Given the large number of similar organisations that have sprung up since then, we are concentrating on applying the network to raise funds for charity although are involved in joint networking events.

We have held Iftar gatherings during Ramadan and an ever growing number of charity events as in our past events section.
